Visual Rules Guide

The aim of the game is to be the first player to earn 20 points, called CHEER!

Play 1-on-1 or take turns playing with multiple opponents.
Each player starts the game by shuffling their deck and drawing 5 cards.

Earn CHEER
Earn Cheer

To earn CHEER, enter your Shaka Shredders into the Arena. Once per turn, you may play 1 Trick card (blue) OR 1 Assist card (purple) from your hand. A maximum of 3 of each are allowed in the Arena!

Perform a Diss!

Once per turn, you may play 1 Diss card (green) instead of a Trick or Assist.

Diss cards provide a powerful one-time effect, like Embarrassment, which sends an opponent's Trick or Assist card from their Arena to their Discard Locker (discard pile). Your used Diss cards are immediately sent to your own Discard Locker.

Other Diss Cards may instead Exhaust your opponent's Trick and Assist cards in the Arena.

An Exhausted card gets flipped over until the start of that player's next turn. While Exhausted, all stats become 0, all abilities are lost, and the card cannot swap. You may still defend with it and your opponent may still Diss it.

Other Diss Cards may instead Exhaust your opponent's Trick and Assist cards in the Arena.

An Exhausted card gets flipped over until the start of that player's next turn. While Exhausted, all stats become 0, all abilities are lost, and the card cannot swap. You may still defend with it and your opponent may still Diss it.

Stay Energized

Playing a Diss card requires an Energize payment. This is done by moving cards with the indicated Fandom from anywhere in your own Discard Locker to the bottom of your deck in the order you choose.

Discard Lockers will fill up naturally as you Challenge your opponent with your Trick cards in the Arena!

Playing a Diss card requires an Energize payment. This is done by moving cards with the indicated Fandom from anywhere in your own Discard Locker to the bottom of your deck in the order you choose.

You may designate any number of your Tricks as Challengers. Your opponent will have to choose their own Defending Trick cards to match up 1-on-1. If they don't, you will earn CHEER equal to your trick's score.

When defended, the lower scoring card  is sent to the Discard Locker and no CHEER is awarded. The Challenging Trick, if victorious, becomes Exhausted until the start of your next turn. No shame in losing! Energize your way back into the game!

You may designate any number of your Tricks as Challengers. Your opponent will have to choose their own Defending Trick cards to match up 1-on-1. If they don't, you will earn CHEER equal to your trick's score.

Seize Bonuses

Gain a score advantage over your opponent by attaching Assist cards to your Trick cards. Once attached, they cannot be reattached to a different Trick card until your next turn.

Assists have multiple bonuses that become active if the Shaka Shredder above matches its Style Type requirement. Always check to see which bonuses (if any) are active!

Once per turn, you may swap any 2 Shaka Shredders you control in the Arena or in your hand as long as they play the same sport (surfing or skating) and are no more than 1 rank apart.

If you build a deck with both skaters and surfers, swapping between sports requires that both Shaka Shredders be the exact same rank.

Once per turn, you may swap any 2 Shaka Shredders you control in the Arena or in your hand as long as they play the same sport (surfing or skating) and are no more than 1 rank apart.

Swapping in Shaka Shredders with different Style Types can lead to Trick Combos.
